“I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist that has been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years and Meg Mangano provides services that get results. It was Meg’s extensive education, multiple certifications and experience that initially drew me to her services. Soon after starting to utilize Meg’s services I realized that not only was I getting the best results I had ever seen, but I was learning how to create healthy meal planning that would be sustainable for the rest of my life! Meg has a heart of gold and she puts passion behind everything she does and you will know by how much she cares about you and your success!”

“Meg Mangano helped me transform my body for my 4th and final Olympics. Never satisfied with “good enough” Meg was able to assess my nutritional situation and work with me on an itemized plan to get the most out of my training and recovery. She helped me understand what food could take my performance to the next level. I will forever be grateful for her help taking my game to the next level in Vancouver and for the awareness in health I will take with me for the rest of my life.”

“Let’s face it, food and nutrition are charged, emotion-laden subjects in this country. I have no idea how our culture has developed its attitudes towards food, but I do know that Meg Mangano is the best prepared person I have met to help us deconstruct our less healthy habits. Backed by solid research, years of experience and a passion to help and teach, Meg guides each of us to find the foods and habits that best nurture our long-term health and fitness. Meg doesn’t coddle – with compassion, discipline and humor she listens carefully and, in turn, carefully challenges and co-creates plans that work for your goals. And if you fall off track, she’s there to help you back on. With her guidance, I have learned new ways to look at food in all its dimensions: nutritional make-up, diversifying food selection, portion sizes, emotional triggers. She has truly empowered me in my quest to lose weight, remain lean, and maintain my fitness. It is, in fact, a gift that she is there to help along the road to knowledge, understanding, and the freedom of healthy choices.”

“We have 3 little girls from 9-13 years of age. All 3 of our girls swim on a club swim team, they swim different levels and different strokes. We needed Meg’s help because we didn’t know what to feed them during their training, before their meets and during the meets. Since they are still growing we knew we could not follow the adult nutrition/ diet/ sports books nor could we feed them only sports bars, drinks and gels, they needed proper fueling and hydration but at different needs! Meg met with our swim team parents and helped us with our nutrition journey. With Meg’s individual profiles we went to work! What a difference in performance at practices and meets we are having! All of our kids have dropped times in 90% of their events! Many of our kids have been able to meet higher time standards and some of our kids were able to move up to the faster swim groups. So, with a little effort on our part, really understanding what our kids nutrition needs are and with Meg’s help we are having swim success! Thank you Meg!!!”

“I am a private physical therapist/case manager for patient’s with neurological injuries. Meg has helped my team of caregivers with making sense of proper nutrition and hydration with complicated cases. She was able to work with each individual caregiver and come up with some fun meals that were appetizing and met the dietary needs of my patient. With her help, my patient’s labs have changed for the good. Meg has been a tremendous help with our nutrition questions and needs.”

“I sought out Meg’s expertise after years of IBS-D, weight gain issues, and overall lethargy. To say the least, I finally hit my wall emotionally and realized that I needed help to get my body and mind back on track. Meg suggested I utilize the LEAP-MRT program to diagnose my food sensitivities and map out an action plan. The program is strict but the rewards will be more than you realize! Oddly enough, other symptoms improved in addition to those mentioned previously. My sinus congestion dissolved, skin rashes cleared, and my husband will tell you my mood is even better. Whose mood wouldn’t improve, though? With Meg’s help I lost 14 lbs and 11 inches over my entire body and finally fit back into those expensive skinny jeans that have been haunting my closet for years. This is different then any of my feeble attempts alone, because Meg taught me how to plan a meal system adapted specifically to my needs and goals. Also, not only is Meg an expert in what she does, she is caring, and genuine, and understanding. She is the answer to your health needs and the inspirational coach to get you through it.”

“I have been working with Meg since 2010 on changing my eating habits for optimal health. When we first met, I was a management consultant who travelled over 300 days a year, and worked long hours in stressful environments. I was gaining a lot of weight and picked up the habit of emotional eating. Meg and I worked on meal plans, grocery lists, and conscious and mindful eating. I also learned I had food sensitivities to nearly all the foods I was eating. Meg helped refine my meal plans around the food sensitivities. It all worked! Today I am 20 lbs lighter, healthy, and more conscious than ever about where food comes from, how it’s made or farmed. Most of all, I am in tune with my heart and body to be able to choose healthier habits than mindless comfort eating. Changing habits is a journey. Looking back now, it was one of the smartest investments I did for myself.” -Bianca, 05/2013
